Good morning, friends!
Yesterday was a BIG day in the skies — we flew 16 precious pups from a high-kill shelter in Georgia all the way to a safe shelter in New Jersey. I took my job very seriously, of course: official entertainer, comfort specialist, and head of morale. 💁♀️🐶 I talked to everyone, played with toys, and made sure no one felt alone. Three little guys were especially nervous when they first boarded the plane, so I sat close, told them I’ve been in their paws before, and promised them everything was going to be just fine. Once we were in the air, I even convinced them to peek out the window — and oh my goodness, they LOVED it!
By the time we landed, those once-nervous pups were happy, relaxed, and wagging away. Each one received a special swag bag I personally put together, complete with a cozy blanket, a toy, and a bag of treats (because every good flight deserves snacks). I absolutely love these rescue flights — meeting new friends, seeing familiar faces, and being part of their journey to a better life. Being a co-pilot is hard work… but someone’s gotta do it. 💕🐾✈️
f my story touched your heart and you’d like to help more pups take their own freedom flight, you can support TailWaggin’ TailWinds Rescue with a donation. Every gift helps fuel rescue flights, provide comfort items, and carry dogs from danger to safety. From my paws to yours — thank you for helping us save lives. 🐾✈️💙
