Good morning!

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having an awesome day!   It’s been sooo busy around here the past couple of days.   We have 7 Bluebird boxes on our property and every box is occupied with Bluebird families...except one....we have a Chickadee family in it....but that’s ok...

When Mom goes out and rings the “dinner” bell...you won’t believe how many Bluebirds fly in ...the young birds are hilarious to watch.   Some of the young birds are nose diving into the ferns because they can’t land on the feeder...the others are on the feeder stand with their mouths open...waiting to be fed.  Yesterday was a fly in traffic jam around here.   Birds were waiting to be fed.   They LOVE live mealworms....the birds  aren’t afraid of my Mom and will sit on the deck, chairs, railings and everything else that’s near the feeder while she loads up the worms.

If you want Bluebirds in your yard, just install a couple of Bluebird boxes, serve them mealworms ( in a dinner bell feeder ), have a birdbath near by for water, bathing, etc.....and then.... just sit back, relax and watch the excitement.    If you ring a bell every time you put the mealworms in the feeder, the birds will start flying in when they hear the bell and will spread the word to their friends.  Mom orders her mealworms from Rainbow Mealworms in California....their prices are great, customer service is awesome and your worms will arrive most of the time in 2-3 days.   We keep the worms in the garage refrigerator....they don’t move around when it’s cold and they will be fine in the refrigerator for a few months.  https://www.rainbowmealworms.net

Stay tuned for more adventures...
