Today is one of those days. The kind where my tail starts wagging before the sun even comes up and I can barely sit still in my little co-pilot seat because…
👉 WE ARE FLYING 19 PUPPIES FROM DANVILLE, VA TO MORRISTOWN, NJ!!! 👈
NINETEEN.
That’s basically a whole kindergarten class of puppies. And yes, I take my job very seriously.
These little nuggets are coming from a place where life hasn’t been very kind yet. Some are nervous. Some are confused. Some are thinking, “Why am I in this funny moving crate and why does it sound like a giant vacuum cleaner?”
And that’s where I come in. 🥰
During this flight, I will be:
• Talking to them (constantly — I have a LOT to say)
• Making very reassuring eye contact
• Sharing my personal success story (“I was rescued too, and look at me now!”)
• Handing out toys, kisses, and emotional support vibes
• Explaining turbulence in a calm, soothing voice
• Supervising snack distribution (quality control is important)
I will be BUSY.
Like no breaks, no naps, all paws on deck busy.
Right now, all I have are two photos of these first sweet little faces (and OMG LOOK AT THEM 😭). But trust me — by the time we land in Morristown, there will be LOTS of pictures, LOTS of stories, and LOTS of happy, tired puppies who have no idea their entire lives just changed for the better.
This flight is what freedom looks like.
It sounds like propellers.
It smells like puppy breath.
It feels like hope.
So buckle up, friends. Cabin is secure, crew is ready, and this girl is cleared for takeoff. 💺✈️🐾
