Hi everyone!
I’m pretty sure I’ve just landed in the coolest place on the planet… literally. ❄️
We’re in Long Island, and let me tell you—I took one look outside that plane door and said, “Absolutely not.”
I politely informed Mom and Dad that I would be remaining onboard the aircraft, thank you very much. At a very dignified 6 pounds, I am simply not built for this level of cold. I freeze easily, I shiver dramatically, and frankly… I deserve better. 💁♀️
Before our precious rescue passengers headed inside to meet their new fosters, I gathered them close and explained the plan. I told them I’d be staying behind in the warm, cozy plane while they went off to start their brand-new lives. I reminded them how brave they were, how loved they are, and how everything from this moment forward was going to be good things only.
I LOVE hanging out with our rescue passengers—every tail wag, every nervous little face, every hopeful heart—but today, this tiny co-pilot chose warmth and supervision from afar. Someone has to guard the plane, after all. ✈️🐶
Watching them roll away toward their futures never gets old. One minute they’re arriving scared and unsure… the next, they’re meeting fosters, wrapped in blankets, surrounded by kindness, and stepping into the next chapter of their lives. That’s the magic. That’s why we fly.
So while I stayed snug and toasty inside, I sent each one off with kisses, encouragement, and a promise:
You are safe now. You are loved. And your life is about to be amazing.
Cold paws, warm hearts, and another successful landing.
Until the next flight…
💖

I was once a scared little rescue pup myself, and now I get to help others find their forever homes. If you’d like to be part of that magic, your donation helps give more dogs the happy ending they deserve. 💖
