Abigail's Adventures (and other news)

Audra is a foster mom/volunteer for Pilots and Paws and she has her own Sunflower field.   She and Ginny Anne are enjoying the morning sun today.   Audra is an awesome foster mom!   Plus, she bakes the best cakes!!!!   She had a cake for us the last time we flew to her airport to pick up pups......I wanted a bite but my mom told me NO! I'm not allowed to have human food........she gave me a piece of apple to snack on.....while they had cake.......do you think I was happy??? Nope, I pouted......but I did eat my slice of apple...... while...

My feet are wet from walking in the grass so I decided to come out of the airplane and sit on the wing until my Mom can dry off my feet........it's such a gorgeous day!   We're headed out on a Pilots N Paws Freedom Flight with 3 pups that are going to a safe shelter.  I am so excited!     This has been a busy month for us flying rescue dogs and the month has just started!   I am sooooo happy for all of the dogs that fly with us.   They won't ever have to worry about being in a kill...

I am ready to board the airplane and my steps are missing!   I just saw my buddy "Ronnie" cutting the grass at the airport and I tried to get his attention to come over and give me a little boost.   My Mom is in the plane getting my seat set up and Dad is sitting in the cockpit doing the preflight........They told me to wait in the car but I am just sooooo excited about going in the airplane that I got out of the car all by myself and now i'm trying to get into the plane.......but my Mom...

Hi everyone, The plane is packed full of rescue pups going on their Pilots N Paws Freedom Flight today.  There wasn't a lot of room for me to play with them but I did manage to walk back here and squeeze in between the crates to talk to them.   I've been peeping around the corner and checking on them.......I told them the flight isn't much longer and when we land in Easton, Maryland......we will be at my favorite place.......SUGAR BUNS CAFE & they will have ice water and we can run and play outside before they continue on their journey...

Oh No!  I don't think this is going to be much fun!  My Daddy is driving my stroller! He puts me BEHIND him and pulls me.......but, I will admit it is fun!   My Mom is sooo careful not to hit a bump in the road or do anything to cause me discomfort... but with my Dad.....it's hang on for the ride of your life!      Wish me luck! xoxox Abigail
