Abigail's Adventures (and other news)

Lots of cute pups and adult dogs are headed out with us on their Rescue Flight today.   I’m sooo excited!   Check back for pictures!! Abi & Scarlett 

Hi everyone! One of our nesting boxes has a Chickadee family.   Mom checks it every day!  The parents are basically tame and don’t worry if Mom has the door opened and taking pictures...the Chickadee just strikes a pose and remains on her nest.  I love hanging out in our natural area where there are 4 boxes.....they all have families or eggs and a waiting list of families that want to move in.    It’s the perfect area to raise bird families....protected area with trees, shrubs, fresh water and predator lights to keep the bad guys away at night.  ...

Hi Pebbles, the Maltipoo that went with us in her Freedom Flight yesterday, is now settling in with her foster parent and seems to be relaxing.   Poor girl was attached by German Shepherds and lost her eye.   But she is now a long, long distance from them and can live a happy and safe life she deserves. I just LOVE happy stories!      

Good morning, We have 7 adorable pups going with us on their Pilots N Paws Freedom Flight this weekend.  I’m soooo excited!   Mom, Scarlett and I have been working on a special treat box to take to Cindy in Sumter, SC.  We have all kinds of dog food, treats, toys and more goodies for her.   Cindy is an awesome volunteer and she really loves the pups she takes cars of until they can get to a rescue shelter where they are safe. I will post more pictures when we land in a Sumter. 

It’s been a busy morning.  We got our walking miles in, took a break and had ice water and cookies!  I decided I was tired and I got in Daddy’s lap for a short nap....but the squirrels were having a play date near by and Scarlett wanted to be included....me??  I’m happy just to nap but with all of the noises from the squirrels and Scarlett whining because she wanted to chase them....I didn’t get much of a nap!  Going to take a nap now.....in my favorite spot....the front door...
